Frequently Asked Questions


Q: Does laser etching my device void the Apple warranty?

A: No. The process is done using a laser at low power and will not damage your device. The process is quick, clean, permanent and will not void your Apple warranty.

Q: What format should my artwork be in?

A: ETCHamac prefers vector based artwork, ie. Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) or Corell Draw (.cdr). We can also accept various bitmap image formats. (Setup fees may apply).

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: Orders normally ship in about 3 business days. (From approved Mockup. Shipping time is an estimate)

Q: How do I track my order?

A: To track your order contact the ETCHamac shipping department at 602-635-4550 x4563 or at sales@etchamac.com.

Q: Where do I send my product to?

A: If you selected the "Mail-In" option in the design studio you need to ship to:

RMA

(Return Merchandise Authorization)

  1. Contact an ETCHamac customer representative.
  2. The customer representative will give you an RMA number.
  3. Repack all products into the original packaging.
  4. Label all packaging with the RMA number given to you.
  5. Send the packages back to the address given to you by our representative.
Packages received with out an RMA numbers will not be excepted by the shipping department!
